Memorial Day Weekend

Twenty-two family members and friends had fun at Camp Sweat.
The only real project seemed to be cutting and stacking wood to replenish Dad's (Grandpa's) supply for cooking maple syrup next Spring.

Saturday afternoon, 14 of us drove up to Monico for a two hour show at the Kovac Planetarium. It was great! We highly recommend it.

Of course then we were all hungry for corn on the cob which was roasted on the grill in the husks . . . .mmmm delicious!

Saturday evening was great around the campfire telling stories.

More activities during the weekend included swimming, boating, fishing:
a good ladder game:

just plain fun:

and, even though the weather was perfect the whole weekend, an inside game:

Sunday was more of the same and then preparing for our big potluck meal:


and, would you believe it? - - - coloring hair:

Back to Northland Notes or to Camp Sweat or Bob's Corner or perhaps Pat's Place and we also suggest Square Dances and maybe Contra Dances and then there's always Mixed Pics
