Shopping
     Three Lakes and Eagle River are the two closest communities.  
     Each has a wide selection of tourist shops and the usual small town stores

 Fishing / Fishing with Guides
    20 lakes on the Three Lakes part of the chain, another 8 below the Burnt Rollways boat hoist and dam.  
    The Three Lake side has a surface area of 7,626 acres, and over 100 miles of shoreline. 
    These lakes are home to 16 varieties of fish.
    There are dozens of small lakes with public access.
    Sporting Goods Shops in Three Lakes and Eagle River have contacts with dozens of area guides.

    Trout fishing is more limited, but there are brook trout in the upper reaches of 9-mile and the Deerskin creeks.

Bike Riding
    There are miles of paved back-woods roads with (mostly) gently rolling terrain through the woods and fields.
    The Nicolet Wheel-A-Way bike tour is held during Labor Day weekend.  There are 30 and 40 mile tours.
    Three Eagle Trail Biking and hiking between Three Lakes and Eagle River - construction and building started in 2006.

Bird Watching
    Thunder Lake Wildlife Refuge - Under consideration for inclusion as part of the Northern Woods Birding Trail.
     Nicolet Bird Club of Three Lakes - Local bird club meets on the third Monday of each month in the Three Lakes Community Building.

Three Lakes Historical Society
    FREE "Concert in the Park" outdoor performances at the "Cy" Williams' Memorial Park. 
    The concerts are each Tuesday evening at 7PM and the public is invited. A free-will offering will be accepted.
