Memorial Day Weekend
2010

Forty family members and friends had fun at Camp Sweat.
This was the largest group ever!
32 of them were overnight campers.
We rounded the wagons around the campfire area.
This year we had a theme - Hawaiian Luau;
so evidently we celebrated the 50th state in our Union.
The weather was absolutely gorgeous the whole weekend.
Many went swimming, boating, and fishing, besides playing games.
Every evening was a large gathering around the campfire for talk and stories.
Grandma's rules were "No swearing & no distasteful jokes."
Rules were abided by, and positive thoughts uplifted.
Laughter abounded.
Here are just some of the pictures:

This is my favorite photo taken by our grandson, Augie.

Some came from as far away as New Mexico, Texas, and New York.

Back to Northland Notes or to Camp Sweat or Bob's Corner or perhaps Pat's Place and we also suggest Square Dances and maybe Contra Dances and then there's always Mixed Pics
